I Never Promised You a Rose Garden is a dance and sound installation in the gardens of Wij Trädgårdar. The audience is guided through three different locations in the garden with instructions from a mp3-player.
It’s a meditative experience focusing on the relation between body, movement and place.
The work springs from the series Dancewalks which moves through public and semipublic spaces shaking, confirming and observing their social norms and built structures.
